The Nissan updates for a QQ cost £149 so not cheap. That's probably why people buy updates on EBay at half that price! There is a lot of information on the Qashqai Owners Forum, for people like me who own a QQ. However they are not that up to date as the latest issue which came out around October/ November 2015 covers the period up to Q3/2014. The maps are usually updated on a yearly basis. Posted: Fri 7:45 pm Post subject: Nissan Connect map updates Google Nexus One with Google Maps & NDrive Is there a later version yet that anyone knows? I will complain at the dealer when it goes in for its first service but I am not expecting them to know anything! I wouldnt be very impressed if I bought a new car and it had maps over twelve months old.Įbay has loads of the version E maps for sale (were do all the "original" maps come from?) but no later ones I can see. I have the version E maps which were current when I bought the car 11 months ago, so there ought to be new ones. īut map updates just dont happen, do they! I am pleasantly surprised by the connect unit, it is, after all, always there, no power leads, doesnt fall off the windscreen etc. It is the first factory fitted GPS I have used, having had a couple of tomtom units previously. I have a Nissan connect (version 2) in my 2015 Nissan Note. I had noticed that there hadnt been any new postings to this forum since last year and then I was beaten to being the first one!
